Dipping my foot into the road bike thing. Second ride, did not crash. That is the metric I really care about.

We took the kids bowling today... Had to teach the kids a valuable lesson, life won’t go easy on you, and neither will Dad.

My girls wanted to go fishing tonight. They had a good night. Unfortunately most of the other people there thought they were in danger with their screams for help every 3 minutes. #dadlife #girldad

Our @littlefreelibrary @lindsays.mtnlaurellibrary got some needed TLC this week. New roof, new base and a fresh coat of paint.

May 1, 2020. The day Dylan decided she would no longer live as a prisoner but she would cast off the restraints of training wheels and ride as a free woman! She did amazing, first try!

My friend @ritaspringer has a new song out today... I’m so proud of her, always willing to step out into the unknown and trust God with everything. She is an amazing woman, mom, friend, mentor, song writer and so much more. Go check out her new song and share it with your friends!

4am thunderstorm wake up call leads to homemade cinnamon rolls for breakfast. Always a silver lining.

This is how @lindsay1019 is eating her Oreo. No one asked her or told her to, we aren’t playing some fun party game. She just decided to do this on her own. I think she may have finally cracked under the lockdown.

All 4 of my kids were born at this hospital and it was an honor to join 400+ other @gatewaypeople members and staff to pray over all the staff and patients @bswhealth Grapevine!

We had to get out of the house and go visit @thedustybiscuit. It was so good! There is no better cure for quarantine than some fried dough!

I’m glad everyone is being safe and people are wearing gloves, but why do they all just throw them in the ground?

It’s this girl’s 6th birthday today! Because of all this #corona business, her party venue canceled her party. It didn’t phase her, she has been happy and celebrating herself all day! She is amazing and I love her with my whole heart. #girldad

We were praying early in Granbury this morning. It was a good morning.

My friend @nickbalcombe sends me these randomly hilarious texts that always make me laugh. He’s also one of the greatest missionaries in the world... so laugh at this text and then support his missions work.

I once saw @charliemackesy in London give a talk on the love of God that was so sincere and honest I have never forgotten it... it didn’t hurt that he was also dressed as a banana while he did it. This is his new book, and it is as beautiful and sincere as his talk.

We have almost 100 people signed up to be trained this morning to serve in the prisons. Going to be a good morning.

At Annie Jr. again tonight. Reese found out she’s having to play Rooster... she found out an hour ago. She was not the understudy. Also, hopefully we can get through the night without an ER visit.

Just when we thought our night was over, this guy decides to go face first into a brick wall... 6 stitches.

Spirit night for my kids school... no, none of these kids are mine, mine wouldn’t sit with me so their friends did!

Soccer games, practices, gymnastics, band concerts, band rehearsal, pep rally’s, theater rehearsal, Church Christmas show rehearsal, field trips, laundry, lunches, dishes, bible studies, book club, birthday parties, play dates, school chaperone, crossing guard, class mom for two classes and a sick husband... that was seriously just this week! On top of all that, she has been the most amazing gift God has ever given me and has put up with me for 17 years! I don’t know how she does it or what I did to deserve it. Happy anniversary babe! I love you so much!
