Today is my wife’s Birthday! If you know her, you know what an amazing person she is. She is the greatest wife and mom on the planet. I am always amazed at how she lays her life down for her family. She pours herself into our kids in a way that impacts them to their souls. It is hard to put into words how she has changed my life. She is my greatest strength and cheerleader. She has always believed in me even when I didn’t or don’t believe in myself. She has always called out the better things in me. Even as I write this I’m frustrated because I can’t really communicate in words how much I love her and how valuable she is to me. I could spend the rest of my life showing her and telling her how much I love her and it would not even scratch the surface of the depth of that love. She is the greatest gift God has ever given me, and I am so honored that she chose me to steward her life and love. I love you more than anything @lindsay1019

Mom’s shopping and we’re waiting.
Full day in Dallas today!
Downtown Dallas for the Christmas Parade!
Barnes & Nobel sells these travel wine glasses. So you can take your wine with you... you know, like in the car while you drive. Sounds like a great idea!
I love art... can’t wait to write about this in my nightmare journal.
This guy sits here all day just yelling the rules at people on his microphone. #dreamjob
Dylan’s first time at one of our favorite places, the Tennessee Aquarium!
It’s Friday y’all.
How is this girl already 1 years old? Happy Birthday Audrey!
Great season Stormtroopers! As always, the season ended with a terrible call and Lindsay going Mama Bear on the ref. And we’re not even sorry about it!
My goal is to have my Christmas Lights up before anyone else in the neighborhood. #missionaccomplished

This kid is getting ready for his fun run tomorrow! You can still sponsor him per lap or a one time gift by clicking the link in the profile!
The soccer game somehow turned into “Story Time with Lindsay”
How was your weekend?
What an amazingly peaceful and sacred space God has raised up in the @upperroomdallas.
Teaching my kids about the “Dad Tax”.
To the victor goes the spoils.
Duck!
It’s this boys favorite time of year, time for the Fun Run at school. You can help him by clicking the link in the profile and sponsoring him. Help home raise money for his school! DO IT NOW!
Over the last 3 years this parking lot has become one of my favorite places to pray. No one is ever there so I can be as loud as I want...most of the time. Today however, the three ladies walking together that I wasn’t aware of looked at me like I was a crazy person. I quickly went back to my office.
This is not a joke sign, this is a sign on the door of my daughter’s Junior High. Things like this make me worry for our future.
Romantic anniversary breakfast... just the four of us.
Someone has some birthday money burning a hole in his pocket.
Cameron and his crew celebrating his 9th birthday!
Best time of the year!
Wagon time.
It’s Friday.
VIP Lunch today.
One of the families favorite rides at the State Fair. #bigtex
Lindsay & Cameron did not know what they were signing up for. #bigtex
The State Fair is basically just overheated parents yelling at the older kids to keep an eye on the younger kids.
State Fair Day!
We’re saying goodbye to 8 year old Cameron tonight... he wakes up 9 tomorrow!
If you’re looking for a great church in Fort Worth check out @c3fortworth, here’s a taste of their Senior Pastor @brandon_cole in action!
The kids will have so much fun.
If you have no skill level, nothing is off limits. #lifemotto
Fr. Nouwen may be speaking to Pastors regarding schedules, but I believe this applies also to our general world… both real and online. So much time is spent online creating and consuming without ever considering if it is worth the time it steals from us.
Working on my biscuit skills today.
Reese’s first Jr. High Play! She did a great job AND we found out she the part of Scout in To Kill a Mockingbird!
It’s Friday. #dadlife
The number of people I can count right now that are going through hell. The number of the biggest pains in my life right now that I am facing that are incomparable to what these people are going through. It is easy for us to get consumed in our own pain that we forget to imagine that it could be worse, and that we may be more blessed than we think. Giving up is easy. Sometimes... most times, faith is hard. The One I put my faith in has never given up.
Daddy Dylan Day @plldsouthlake. #dadlife
Who’s ready for Mom to be home? This girl.
It was a day!
Carrots, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Tomatoes, Celery, Bell-pepper, green beans, and Kale. Some people drink alcohol to get through the day, I drink this. And when my wife is out of town and 4 out of 4 kids are crying, I’m drinking a lot of this.
When Mom’s out of town, breakfast sometimes happens in the parking lot while doing school drop offs. #dadlife #momsgone
They’re not messing around.
Daddy Dylan Day.
Audrey.
Ice Cream Social tonight at school! We’re coming to eat it all!
The newest addition to the Holsinger music catalog just arrived for Dylan. Dylan had a pretty cool Granddad!
Marrying Lindsay is the greatest thing I have ever done but I never imagined the added bonus I would get when I inherited two of the greatest grandparents I could imagine. Grandma Jackie became one of my greatest heroes, one of the strongest women I have ever known. She went to be with Jesus today and I will miss her the rest of my life.
Monday.
Breakfast for dinner. #momsback
3 down.
That’s a wrap! #missionaccomplished #momsgone
Trying to survive Mom being out of town and the great flood outside. We needed a home cooked meal!
I spend 90% of my time with this girl just prying things out of her mouth. I don’t even know where she finds it all!
Just finished this book by one of my heroes @pete.greig. This is a great but honestly dangerous book to read. It has stirred some things in me that had long gone stagnant, and ignited some new fires. Like I said, it’s a dangerous book.

Walking to school and somehow collecting more kids. #dadlife
Well, the family has spoken and they were a success!
I have never been able to perfect making biscuits. No matter how I try they always come out wrong... but I’ll never give up, my love for them outweighs my frustration!
... my heart responds...
I guess 7th graders drink coffee now?
I have never battled with addiction, that is unless you count the strange hold these Durham Honey Roasted Pecans have on me.
Heading back home to Texas. It was a good weekend. Dylan wanted a picture with the hotel pool “because she loved it.”
And this was the moment my nephew snapped and decided that he had been waiting for this wedding to start for long enough and he was out.
The Sun at our back. #roadTrip
First Daddy Dylan Day of the new school year. Back to just me and her. #dadlife

Another first day of school in the books! A successful start to 3rd grade & Junior High! Now we celebrate!
First day of school. 3rd & 7th grade.
My girl. Daddy Dylan Day. (Plus Cameron, Audrey & Lindsay.) #dadlife
That’s my 7th grade daughter walking into her new Junior High for new student camp. How did this happen? #dadlife #imold

Mary Poppins with the kids.
Roaming the streets with this girl tonight. #dadlife
Taking these future leaders of America to see Mary Poppins @gatewaypeople. I’m sure these new 7th graders won’t regret this picture at all.
In my opinion, this may be one of the most relaxing sounds to start your day to.
We had a special guest this morning for Friday’s with Dylan. #dadlife
It was fun following my boy around this morning for his last day of College for Kids. He is so creative and full of non-stop energy. If you can’t do it 120% he doesn’t see the need to do it at all. I’m so glad he’s my boy.
In case you’re wondering, the worst vending machine on the planet can be found at Tarrant County College.
It’s been awesome teaching at #gwsc18 but I’m a little disappointed they didn’t ask me to rap with my crew.
Come to Me.
A Dangerous Prayer. #prayer
I began this year asking God to teach me about humility. That may have been a mistake. God is more into transformation than He is into information. And for some reason I expected Him to give me some deep revelation from His Word that I could study. I didn’t expect Him to enroll me in the school of humility where each lesson doesn’t enter your mind but gets engraved in your heart. One thing I am discovering about this process of God working on my heart is that this kind of work tends to be the most uncomfortable when He is working on the areas of the Heart that may be a little tough*. (*I use the word “tough” because it makes me feel better than admitting my heart may be harder in this area than I first thought. I’m sure that will be a future lesson I will learn.)
Last night was an amazing time to celebrate @srtiemann & Jeff Hermeling. It’s amazing what God has done in this woman’s life!
Some men are easy to honor, Jack King was one of those men. It was special to be a part of his home going today, I can’t wait to see him again.
It’s Friday, which means it’s Friday with Dylan! But... it’s also summer break and she would rather stay home with her brother. That’s ok, except now I can’t blame the massive amount of doughnuts I consume on Friday mornings on my four year old. #dadlife
Little sneak peek of how the cast of this summers Gateway Summer Musical is doing. It’s gonna be a great show!
